Satori Artist Retreat is a creative sanctuary on Panmure Island, a tiny island off the coast of Prince Edward Island, linked by a two kilometer beach causeway. Satori Retreat is for artists or everyday people who simply crave a quiet place to rejuvenate, create, or simply relax and breathe.
Often in today’s society, we are so busy being busy, that taking the time to create something artful is totally forgotten and considered a luxury. At Satori Artist Retreat, guests are encouraged to unplug, relax, and tap into their creative selves … if only for a few days. A private tree-covered laneway, on this tiny island is a beautiful spot to unwind, dream and create.
Satori Artist Retreat is set up to be just that … a retreat. There are no scheduled workshops or facilitated classes. Your time is your own. If you want to take photographs at dawn or create a masterpiece at midnight, feel free! If you simply want to hike the shoreline, follow the tide, and explore local villages, that is encouraged too.
Satori is a perfect place for people who like a simple relaxed atmosphere … some visitors have finished manuscripts, poetry anthologies, painted, practised their flute and violin, cycled the Confederation trail, or simply sat on one of the best beaches in PEI. Here you can do whatever speaks to you.
